Tactical Pistol 1
This course begins with the basics to include, fundamentals of marksmanship, equipment selection, safety, reloads (tactical & speed), and malfunctions. From there the course progresses into use of cover, increasing proficiency at close ranges, tactical engagement of targets, and strong hand shooting. Primary focus is raising the accuracy level and tactical handling of pistols. Tactical Pistol 1 is a 2 day program.
Tactical Pistol 2
This course begins with a review of the basics and Tactical Pistol 1. Subjects covered will include; turns, shooting on the move, shooting from awkward positions, slicing the pie, shooting at moving targets, distance shooting (max 25m), weak hand shooting and shooting from around vehicles. Primary focus is to take the shooter to the next level using tactical applications. Personal Critique of your fundamentals and custom tailored training program. Tactical Pistol 2 is a 2 day program.
Tactical Pistol 3
Begins with a general review of Tactical Pistol 1 & 2. Almost everything covered in this course will be done with strong and weak hand. Subjects covered will include; reloads, shooting on the move, moving targets, awkward shooting positions from cover, shooting from vehicles, tactical reloads, slicing pie, target order of engagement, and flashlight techniques. At the conclusion Critique of your fundamentals and issue a personalized training program. Tactical Pistol 3 is a 3 day program.
5 Day Tactical Pistol Program
This is an intense 5 day course that combines Tactical Pistol 1 through 3. It is typically reserved for Law Enforcement and military personnel. Civilians may attend with prior notice and approval from Universal Shooting Academy.
High Performance Pistol Shooting
This course was originally designed for Military Spec Ops and SWAT operators. This is a fast paced course and will cover, paper, steel, man on man, high speed drills, moving targets, shooting on the move, at the conclusion of this course you will receive a personalized evaluation by Mr. Garcia and drills made specifically for you to improve in your training after the course. The course focuses on increasing your speed, accuracy, and consistency in high performance shooting. This course will take you to the next level. This course is typically reserved for Law Enforcement and military personnel. Civilians may attend with prior notice and approval from Universal Shooting Academy. High Performance Pistol Shooting is a 5 day program.
Executive Protections and Protective Service Pistol training. Designed specifically for EP & PSD operations. Focus will be on shooting techniques that will allow you to protect your principle. There will be a strong emphasis on concealed carry, moving and one handed shooting.
Low Light Pistol
This course will enable your ability to prevail in low-light lethal-force engagements. Subjects will include, Correct Use of Lighting Tools, Functioning under Duress, Searching Techniques, Proper Movement, effective use of Cover and Concealment. Low Light Pistol is a 1 day program.
