Thanks do Duane for taking charge of our Steel Challenge. He has the stages moved down to the south end, all 8 ready to go. Reminder we shoot every Thursday and the first Saturday of the month is our Sanctioned Match for classifier scores

**Read This Part**

Hwy 630 is closed between US 27 and Hwy 17. If coming from Tampa or the north you likely use the 630A cutoff road from 27 over to 630. You can’t get through there. It will be closed most of the summer for a water project. Cut over through Babson Park or go down 60 to Walk In Water. If coming from south you probably don’t use that road anyway but if you’d like to, you can’t. From the east you’re good (Jim). Check our facebook page for a map.

6 stages of USPSA awesomeness. We have classifier 99-62, another little speed shoot skill test and 4 big field courses including stage 5 from FLOP. Come get some redemption on that one. Or if you didn’t shoot the FLOP you can see how your stage score stacks up against the best.

I’ll send another email this month but I’m likely canceling our Multigun this month. Just don’t have time to get the Nationals stages done and still have a local match. I’m toying with the idea of having a practice day however. Set up maybe one bay stage and have some long range available to play on. Hang with me on this, I’ll be back in touch.

We have the new rifle range set up and we’ll be using it to test out a few things in preparation for MG Nationals. So plan a little more long range than normal.

On that note….are you signed up for Multigun Nationals?? 3 gun National Championship against the best in the world in your back yard….you should be shooting it!

Hope everyones new year is off to a great start. Hopefully you’ve shot a couple matches already this year but if not, now is your chance!

This Sunday. This will be a CLASSIFIER MATCH.

5 Classifier stages and one field course. Universal appreciates your support over the year. We charge our normal $20 fee for the 5 classifier match.

Classifications will be submitted and should update prior to the FL State Match. If you’re a bagger, you could always shoot L-10 or Open minor or something.

I’m not going to allow multiple guns during the first match to keep the flow going to my customers. However, we will have a second match starting at 1400 (2pm) or as soon as the first match is complete. You may shoot a 2nd, 3rd, 8th gun, whatever. $10 per additional gun. We will basically re-register, squad up with whoever is interested and get jiggy again.

Whether you’re staying for the second match or not we have a special treat this match. Chubby Wubby’s Famous Hot Dog Emporium Food Truck will be on site. Bring some extra cash and have a gourmet dog.

Still a few spots left in the Florida State Championship. If you’re not shooting this match, you should be.

Florida Open is open for registration. Staff openings available on this match. If you’re interested in working please send me a separate email.

Multigun Nationals is filling nicely, still plenty of spots available. We’re looking decent on staff for this one but still could use a few more if anyone is interested.

Local multigun and DPL will be on this month.

This Saturday is our USPSA Multigun special edition Goofy Gun 3 Gun!!

Normal Multigun match, all divisions recognized as normal. We do have a special Goofy Division. A time this joyous season to bring out your safe queens that don’t get any love throughout the year. Any unusual gun, even just one, will qualify you for the Goofy Division. There is no Cadillac being given away, it’s just for fun. If you want to roll Goofy do it….if not bring your normal gear and dominate!

I’ll be rocking an M1, sawed off 870, and .38 revolver.

This is our charity month. We are raising money to support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and The Rangers Scholarship Fund. If you have some extra cash please consider tossing it in the bucket. All proceeds from this months matches and all donations will be going directly to these super low overhead charities. These guys support the families of those that gave their life protecting our freedom. Please consider that.
