Howdy shooters,

Crazy month here. Just finished up 9 days of National Championships! Hope you were able to participate in likely the second largest practical shooting event in the US right in your backyard.

Here are a few updates.

The Monster Match is on for this weekend. Little light on turnout due to the recent Nationals going on but it’s going to be a fun weekend. If you’re on the fence about it I suggest you try it out! 50 plus round stages, you can shoot the match in one day. Some raffles and prizes also. You can sign up on Match Sign Up until Wednesday night. After that just email, text or call me and I’ll still be able to get you in. Spread the word…we doin some shooting!!

USPSA will be on for the 11th. I will not be able to be here but Duane and Andy will be running the match.

Multigun and DPL will be on for the 24th. I will be out of town but the match will go on.

Big thanks to Duane, Andy, Roy, Doug, Jim and Jim! Without them I would have to cancel a few matches throughout the year.

Steel Challenge

This will be off for the month. We have all the Nationals stages in the way at the moment without time to get them down. Also we are shifting the Steel bays south a few bays and are going to remeasure to get them a bit more correct. I hope to have them ready by the Dec 1st match but I will be back in touch before then.

6 Major events in 5 months. Gonna be busy around here.

Schedule updates for the next couple months.

I will stay on top of Monster Match questions and FL Open Invite requests as I know those are time sensitive. Any other issues or questions please be patient. I will do my best to respond but I have a crazy season for the next few months.

October

All local events are off.

November

Steel on 1, 3 and 8 are off.

USPSA on 11th will be on.

Steel Practice on 15 and 29 are good.

No Steel Practice on 22 (Thanksgiving)

3 Gun and DPL are in limbo but looking promising

December

Should be back to regularly scheduled programming but I’ll be in touch before then.

It’s Full. IF you are local and IF you are a gambler and IF you have the time to spare you can show up ready to shoot and pay. There MAY be a no-show that allows you go get in. Weigh your IF’s.

USPSA is on for this Sunday. Sept. 9. Also it’s the only time this year the date will be 9/9/18. Little trivia for you. You’re welcome.

Multigun and DPL will be off this month due to the Scattergun and PCC Palooza. Palooza is full but still some room in Scattergun if you’re interested. Will probably go to a 2 day match for PCC next year.

Steel Challenge is on the fence for next month, USPSA, Multigun and DPL will be off due to USPSA Nationals coming in town.

I was traveling this past weekend and missed the upload for Steel Challenge this month. I apologize but it will be in for next weeks update.

I’ve had some inquires regarding The Monster Match…it is ON this year. First weekend in November. I’ll try and get the website updated soon and registration opened. Also working on web stuff for the FL State match and FL Open. Hard to believe its that time again but here we are. Full tilt for the next 8 months!! “off season” is over!

You’re in one of the best shooting spots in the country, hope you’re taking advantage. Lets get after it this season!!

I missed this weeks upload for Steel Challenge. I apologize, I was away for a couple days. It will be in for next week.

US IPSC Nationals is full on the weekend but still room for Fri/Sat schedule. If you’re a local shooter I recommend you make this match. Rare opportunity to go up against the best in the world for a nominal fee.

If that nominal fee is too much I still have room for staff also. You can shoot on Thursday for free and work the weekend for not enough money and free beer.

MULTIGUN

Those round counts are estimates. We will be continuing with our optional targets so you could shoot more or less of a particular gun as you choose. We also just got a MagnetoSpeed T1000 (thanks TMANator) target hit indicator I want to try out so expect at least one longer range shot than normal.

50 rounds will do ya. I have some cool ideas I’m working on. Not sure they will all be ready for Saturday but expect some new stuff coming soon.

Florida Explorers Match

We have the Sheriffs Explorers coming out Saturday for a competition. If you aren’t familiar with them they are young folks interested in joining law enforcement. I have set up a Steel Challenge type competition for them this Saturday starting at 1pm. It will be simple 4 courses of fire. We are seeking 3-5 people willing to work as Safety Officers for the match. You don’t need to be a certified RO, just familiar with safety procedures during a match. It will be steel challenge, so no movement. Just stand, run the timer, and watch for safety issues. If you are interested please send me an email. Please don’t reply to this one. Thanks!!
