It seems every year our second Sunday USPSA match falls on Mothers Day. Weird.

Those round counts are estimates. We will be continuing with our optional targets so you could shoot more or less of a particular gun as you choose. We also just got a MagnetoSpeed T1000 (thanks TMANator) target hit indicator I want to try out so expect at least one longer range shot than normal.

We have the Sheriffs Explorers coming out Saturday for a competition. If you aren’t familiar with them they are young folks interested in joining law enforcement. I have set up a Steel Challenge type competition for them this Saturday starting at 1pm. It will be simple 4 courses of fire. We are seeking 3-5 people willing to work as Safety Officers for the match. You don’t need to be a certified RO, just familiar with safety procedures during a match. It will be steel challenge, so no movement. Just stand, run the timer, and watch for safety issues. If you are interested please send me an email. Please don’t reply to this one. Thanks!!

This will be a SLOT Match for the Central Florida Section. If you don’t know what that means then it doesn’t apply to you, just a normal match, come on out!

I feel almost back to normal. As I mentioned I was out of the country for 21 days with very poor to zero internet connection. Then back into a hurricane and no power for almost a week. All resources are restored now and I spent yesterday and so far today trying to catch up on match stuff and emails. I’ve cleared about a week back and will be continuing the rest of this week to catch up.

If you requested a refund due to storm issues for Scattergun or PCCpalooza I think I have completed all those as of now. A few asked for application to future matches. If you requested a refund and did not receive it please email me (on a new email, not a reply to this one) and let me know. I either may have missed it or haven’t gotten that far back yet.

USPSA Multigun is on for this Saturday. We have all the Scattergun and PCC stages still up so I will be able to jump off them and make some good stuff I think. I know some want a re-run of the buckshot stage from Scattergun so if you have 8-10 Buck, bring them. But there will be a bird/slug option to avoid Buck if you don’t have it. 9 pellet max on the buck if used. Otherwise the normal 100 rifle, 100 pistol, 50 bird, and 5 slug will get you through.

Is back on for tomorrow for our Thursday matches. Will be on Oct. 7 for our sanctioned match. I didn’t upload this months match yet. No great excuse other than I’ve been gone and then no power. I’ll get it up tomorrow. I apologize for slacking on this. I’ll do better and set up a better system to get it done in a timely manner for the future.

October: USPSA ON, Multigun and DPL OFF (due to Monster Match)
